My blog has a new home. Come visit.
Whoa! Remember the Oceans of Gratitude cruise from last week? When Karol and I first met, she told me about a woman named Caroline Miller. As someone who is inherently curious about what people do, I looked her up. Guess what I found? The Gratitude Club.
Holy-Cow! You have to check this out. Just jump onto her site, and email everyone you appreciate one of the cards… complete with your own customized message of gratitude. What a great way to have a great day! You can even sign up for the Club and get a bunch of goodies.
Bravo Caroline. Thanks for bringing more gratitude into my life.

My favorates are #5, #12, #19 and #21.
Which ones resonate with you?
Dang, I love people who go for it! Karol Avalon plays big. She’s the woman I mentioned last Friday when I promised to give you all the juicy details of an upcoming announcement. Well here’s the skinny…
Karol has created the Oceans of Gratitude cruise through Mexico, Panama and Costa Rica in Feb 2008. Imagine a week in the sun, visiting some of the planets most beautiful places, practicing the art of gratitude with some of the planets great teachers? It just doesn’t get any better than this! Last time around Karol assembled a fabulous group of leaders to encourage, teach and inspire her guests. The same is true for this cruise.
So, here’s the big news! In addition to Dr Emoto from The Hidden Messages in Water, and Dr. Darren Weissmen of Infinite Love and Gratitude …. Rev Michael Beckwith and Rickie Byars Beckwith will be there! Rev. Beckwith is the founder of Agape International Spiritual Center. (It is one of my heart’s desires to fly to Agape several times a year just for church on Sunday mornings.)
Is this opportunity for you? I don’t know. I am simply grateful for the inspiration these amazing people bring to the world. Life is good.
Ever wonder what happens to those beautiful flowers at the event you just attended? In 2003 Nancy Lawlor did while admiring the flowers in the lobby of the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan. The result? The Flower Power Foundation.
Nancy has found her passion ‘re-purposing’ flowers from events and weddings, and gifting them to those who otherwise would not receive fresh flowers. In 4 years she’s re-purposed over $2,000,000 in flowers and touched the lives of thousands. Impressive.
I found Nancy on DarynKagan.com. See the video here (waiting through the 15-30 second sponsor is worth it).
Here’s to us each uncovering our heart’s desire.
So I got to thinking about the whole idea of “positive thinking”. Here’s what I know.
For the most part we are either positive that we’ll have a good day or positive we’ll have a bad day.
Great news! We’re right.
I think one of the coolest things about living right now, in this time and space, is that we are learning how powerful our minds really are. We are grasping at a whole new level our ability to shape our lives and to create our experience on a moment by moment basis.
Take the idea of positive thinking. Isn’t it easy to poo-poo it as the stuff of ‘overly happy people’? Have you ever been around someone who seemingly always sees the positive side of things? Annoying, isn’t it?
Well, I am one of those people. I confess. I am a positive thinking, habitually happy person. There, I said it.
And I want to let you in on a little secret: even positive people have bad days. Take last last week, for example. I was sooooo not in my groove. And choose to let loose and wallow in all the frustration, irritations, upsets, and the ick I could think of. I cried and cried and cried, wadded up in a ball on my bathroom floor at 1:00am. I was whaling into a towel – you know, huh-huh-huh-huh-waaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! - and totally committed to being a crying mess. Then I stopped. I decided I was being a little over the top, and I chose to get into gratitude.
Ah, gratitude. The ultimate emotion.
I believe positive thinking is grounded in and can be found by choosing gratitude. Being thankful for what we have is the most powerful way to train our brains to be positive. And for me, it’s the fastest way to shift from stinky experiences to ‘damn, I have a great life.’
So today, in honor of all happy, positive people (and the great things they are doing to impact the world) let’s get into gratitude and see what happens!

Life is good.
Hold on. This so, so cool. Last Monday, I shared with you about the Mental Journey to Millions and the three things that made a difference for me. This was such a power packed weekend, the truth is I really got so much more out of it. Remembering the power of gratitude is a great example.
Living with a deep sense of gratitude is powerful. The idea of declaring things throughout each day as miracles, and being thankful for them, is such a cool practice. In fact, I think it’s the secret sauce. Gratitude grounds me, warms me, and reminds me all is good NOW.
With gratitude as a major theme in my life, you can image how blown away I was when I got a call from a woman named Karol who is planning a vacation experience centered in gratitude in Feb 2008. (Karol found us though her friend who has one of our Gratitude wraps - cool eh?) I can’t tell you any more about what she’s up to…. other than to say that next Monday I can share all about it. Karol and I just spoke. She has a big announcement coming.
So, stay tuned. I promise to share with you this amazing opportunity - that even if you aren’t able to take it on, you will be inspired by what people choose to create in the world.
Happy Monday!
